Jennie Maria Hill

Jennie Maria Hill, 97 of Cloquet died Thursday, January 22, 2004 in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet. She was born June 11, 1906 in Rauma, Finland to John and Aina Salo. She married John Hill on August 27, 1924 in Duluth. Jennie had been a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Esko since 1959. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; husband, John in 1983; and a granddaughter, Lori Hill. Jennie is survived by her children, Kenneth (Theresa) Hill of Menahga, Lillian (Kenneth) Biebl of Esko, Lyle (Fran) Hill of Cloquet, Karen (Mike) Sheff of Barnum; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 26, 2004 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Esko. Memorials preferred to St. Matthews Lutheran Church stained glass fund. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.
