Mark T Swiderski, 75, of Satellite Beach, died April 11, 2013 in Melbourne, Florida, after fighting a grueling and courageous battle with a very aggressive thyroid cancer. He was born on New Year's Day, 1938 in Hrubieszow, Poland to Jerzy and Helena Swiderski
Mark attended the City College of New York and received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1970. He retired after 30 years of employment with Consolidated Edison of New York.
Mark's hobbies included sailing, gardening, traveling, the beach, and most of all spending time with his loving family and grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his wife Teresa Swiderski, daughter Caroline Noke, son Mark Swiderski and grandchildren Lucas, Lily and Samantha.
A visitation will be held at Beach Funeral Home at 1689 South Patrick Drive, Indian Harbour Beach, FL on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic, Fl on Tuesday, April 16th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions for the purpose of Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer Research at Mayo Clinic Florida be sent to: Mayo Clinic, Dept. of Development, 4500 San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32224 in memory of Mark T Swiderski.
