Barbara Bashford

Biography Barbara Lines Bashford, 79, of Cocoa Beach, FL passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010. She was born in Colorado Springs, CO in 1930 and grew up in Denver. Barbara came to Cocoa Beach in 1959 where she was active in many community organizations including Cocoa Beach Community Church, the League of Women Voters, the American Association of University Women, and the Friends of the Cocoa Beach Library. Her husband’s job took them away from Florida for a number of years, but they returned upon his retirement to the home they built here. Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bruce; children, Don and June; and grandchildren, Steven, David and Bert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UNICEF or to Cocoa Beach Community Church. Funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, April 3, at Cocoa Beach Community Church.
