Constance M. Ezzell

March 22, 1929 — May 28, 2009

On May 28, 2009 the beautiful soul of Constance Marie Bengtsson Ezzell joined her beloved husband Rick. Connie leaves behind four children Rick Ezzell (Laurie); Debbie Grant (Dave); Bonnie King (Charlie); and Gary Ezzell; five grandchildren: Karen Frazier (Christopher) and David C. Grant; Bill Ezzell (Tara); and Chad and Chase King; and four great-grandchildren: Tristen, Landen and Jaiden Frazier; and Emory Ezzell. Connie was a fashion model in New York in the late 40's; married her childhood sweetheart Rick; had four kids; became the neighborhood ""mom"" and taught bowling. The family settled in Cocoa Beach in 1966. Many remember Connie when she worked at TG&Y (Turtles, Girdles and Yo-Yo's as she called it). She lived her life for her family. Her many friends will tell you she was their ""bestest friend"". She leaves behind her Yo-Yo sisters (from water aerobics); the neighborhood on Blakey; her ""knight in shining armor"" George; and two special angels Laurel and Uta. Gone... but leaving memories so full of love and laughter and a family that will keep her love within them forever. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00am Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Connie's memory to Hospice of Health First, 200 S. Courtenay Pkwy., Merritt Island, FL 32952.
