Donna Geurdes

Biography Donna Geurdes 81, passed away on Friday March 12, 2010 at Huntington Place Nursing Center, Rockledge, Fl. A memorial service was held there on Monday March 15, 2010. Donna Mae Geurdes was born August 26, 1928 in Woodland, Pa. to Perry and Reba (Lamadue) Whitton. She was raised in Williamsport by foster parents. As a young woman she lived in numerous places. In 1952 Donna moved back to Williamsport, Pa. There she met the love of her life, Elmer. They shared trials and good times, but always optimistic. Around 1960 they started to vacation in Cape Canaveral, Fl. Donna kept going betweenWIlliamsport and Cape Canaveral for a few years after Elmer’s death., but then started to stay in Cape Canaveral, Fl. year round. In 2008 she entered Huntington Place Place, Rockledge, Fl. Surviors are 3 neices; Donna Kulla Utica, N.Y. Fina Balderson, Little Falls LeAnn Janeczko, Mass. 2 Nephews; George Janeczko, Mass Bernard Janeczko.; Colonial, N.Y. Many great nieces and nephews and cousins in Clearfield and Williamsport, Pa. Great Friends and helpers France Walsh, Rebecca Blizzard. Donna’s urn will be buried in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Mancy, Pa. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Twinn Hills Memorial Park Muncy, Pa.
