Elizabeth “Betty” C. Scholze ,78,formerly of Miami, Fl., passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marlaine Mattox, of Viera, loving son, Darryl Blizzard and wife Neina, of Suntree
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Janie Ansonia of Boca Raton, Fl., and her oldest Son Brian Blizzard of Miami, Fl.
Betty was born in Scranton, Pa. to parents Bernerd Collmier and Agnes Coggins. Her family moved to Miami, Fl. in the 1940’s. She attended Miami Edison High School and Miami Dade Community College.
Betty worked in Engineering department at Southern Bell for 28 years. She retired to Palm Bay, Fl. in 1986. In 2000, she moved to the Suntree area to be closer to her children. She loved traveling, painting, crocheting, and family time with her children. She also adored her poochies. She was a sweet, inspiring and independent woman who always had a smile on her face.
A private service will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home Viera , Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11:00 am.
We will miss your presence daily, your smiling eyes and face. But God took you to Heaven, a far more lovely place
