Ford Garvin

Ford M. Garvin, Maj. USAF, Ret., born in 1926 and passed away peacefully on Wed. Sept. 23 at age of 83. He was a WWII and Korean War Vet and a patriot through and through. Other wise known as Mr. Ford and Papasan, he is survived by his loving wife, Mamie Shiu. He is also survived by his daughters, Anne (Gert) Klein and Leah Fancher, and his step daughters Kathryn Kim (Kenny) Ross and Nora Lin Kellar. He has five grandchildren, Joe, Jessica, Kristen, Shelby and Garvin. His heart was broken when he was predeceased by his brother Tommy and his son in law Tim Fancher. He will be greatly missed by many more family and friends.Ford treated his family as friends,and his friends as family. Especially missed will be his food and his great conversations. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct 3, 2009 at 11:30A.M. At PAFB South Chapel. 854 Harrier Ave Satellite Beach, Fl. 32937. Full military honors will be given. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the service at The Tides at Patrick Air Force Base. All are welcomed. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
