Gloria Walker

COCOA BEACH - Gloria Walker, 65, passed peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday March 16 after a 15 month battle with lung and brain cancer. She is survived by her soul-mate and husband of 32 years, Don, and children Morgan Capshaw and his wife Lisa and grandchildren Jordan and Kyle of Sacramento, CA; Sarah and her husband Mark Michel and grandchildren Walker and Carter of Winter Park, FL; and Ian of Orlando, FL. She is predeceased by her sister Celeste “Tedi” Slimmon and parents James and Virginia Young all of Sacramento, CA. Gloria was born in Emory, GA but lived in Cocoa Beach for the last 29 years. She was a giving woman who loved nothing more than helping her family and friends. All those will remember her artistic talents, outstanding cooking and love of all things outdoors.
