Lee Parkerson
January 16, 1955 — December 19, 2019
Lee Parkerson, musician, real estate professional and longtime resident of Cocoa Beach, FL, passed away unexpectedly at home on December 19, 2019. She was 64.
Lee was born in Burlington, NC on January 16, 1955 to Elizabeth (Bette) Glick (né Mahoney) and Elwood (Bud) Parkerson. She grew up in Chapel Hill, NC, and Brookline, MA, and she graduated from Brookline High School. She attended the Berklee College of Music, where she studied violin and mandolin.
Lee was a gifted artist, an exceptional cook, and she made her living as a real estate professional. In addition to her work in real estate, she was a dental assistant and business manager at her father’s dental practice. She also played mandolin in the Cocoa Beach area and beyond.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Reed; her husband Robert English; her stepson, Philip English, her mother Elizabeth Glick, and her four sisters, Lynn, Brenda, Shelley, and Rhonda. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Steven Reed, and her father, Elwood Parkerson.
Due to the current situation, a memorial will be held in Cocoa Beach at a later date.
