Marcella Carey

Biography Marcella Carey, nee- Kosa, 93, began her eternal life with Jesus Monday, March 29, 2010. Marcella received extraordinary care from the Health Center of Merritt Island and Wuesthoff Hospice and Palliative Care. She also supported by her family and friends. Marcella’s focus in life was on the word of God; her spiritual needs were ministered to her by the Calvary Chapel Melbourne Chaplain, Divine Mercy, R. C. Visitation Team and the Pastor of Orsinio Baptist Church. She lived the great commission to …. “Love one another” ….. the foundation of all her relationships. The fruit of her life was evidenced in love, peace, patience, kindness, joy and remarkable humor. Marcella is survived by her children, Barbara Carey of Buffalo, NY, Jim Carey of Williamsport, TN; grandchildren, Tally, Tammy, John and Michael; and eight grandchildren; Betty (Mrs. Jerome Hubert) of Cape Canaveral, FL; grandchildren, Jerome (Jana) Hubert and Brian (Charlotte) Hubert; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. There will be a private service for the staff of the Health Center of Merritt Island and Wuesthoff Hospice for the extraordinary care they gave to Marcella. A memorial service for family and friends will be held in the springtime and announced at a later date.
