Nicholas Carmine Miele

Nicholas Carmine Miele, 84, of Melbourne, Florida was called home by the Lord on January 19, 2021.
Born July 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York to Salvatore and Maria Miele, he moved from Carmel, NY with his family to Merritt Island, FL in 1979.
He served in the United States Navy, and had a 23 year career with the New York Police Department. This was followed by 22 years as a Brevard County Code Enforcement officer. After retirement he was an active member of and officer in the 10-13 Club of Brevard, a club for NYPD and other law enforcement retirees. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Nicholas is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Paul and Mary Miele of Titusville, FL, daughter and son-in-law, Marisa and Al Tolley of Melbourne, FL, and his four grandchildren Nina Miele, and Matthew, Nolan, and Ryan Tolley. He is also survived by his nephew, Richard Donnelly of Levittown, NY and niece, Catherine Bonnaci of Port Richie, FL. Nicholas is predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Elaine Miele, and son Christopher John Miele.
A mass of resurrection will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 5655 Stadium Pkwy, Melbourne, Fl. at a date soon to be announced. Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery Bushnell, Florida.
