Rachel Cliborne

Rachel Moore Cliborne, 76, died Thursday, March 12, 2009. She had been a proud resident of Cocoa Beach, FL, for forty-two years. Her husband Sam preceded her in death. Mrs. Cliborne was born in Halifax, VA, the daughter of William B. and Lona Seamons Moore. She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Hawkins of South Boston, VA, a stepdaughter, Joann Yancey of Chesterfield, VA, a stepson, James Cliborne of South Boston, VA, a niece, Nancy Hawkins of Winston-Salem, NC, and a nephew, William Hawkins of Forest, VA. Mrs. Cliborne worked for Boeing during the Apollo program and had retired as a mortgage broker. Friends are invited to visit at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 101 N. Brevard Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL, from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday, March 15. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
