Roberta Ann Andersen

Biography Roberta (Bobbie) Ann Andersen of Cocoa Beach died at home Sunday, March 29, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in 1940 in Chicago Illinois and was a resident of Illinois until she attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida. She has been a resident of Cocoa Beach since 1960. Bobbie was employed by the Boeing Company during the 1960's and later at Our Saviour's Catholic School for 14 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and treasured friend. Over the years she was affiliated with many charitable groups and organizations in the community. Her interests included quilting, cooking, and reading. She enjoyed spending the summers in the mountains of North Carolina with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Peter Andersen, daughter, Kirsten Silva grandchildren Loren, Brandon and Ryan of Cocoa Beach; daughter, Julie Davis (Don) and granddaughter Briana of Irvine California; sisters Pamela Burrough of Fort Walton Beach, and Chris Sanok of Indialantic, and loving aunt Irene Dietiker of Aurora, Illinois. She will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and life long friends. Visitation will be held at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, Cocoa Beach on Thursday April 2, 5-7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of Our Saviour, Cocoa Beach• on Friday, April 3 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobbie's memory to Our Saviour's School or Birthright of Cocoa Beach.
