Ronald J. Vitale

December 30, 1948 — May 30, 2026

With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Ronald J. Vitale on May 30, 2026, at the age of 77.

Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. He was a man who could be a force to be reckoned with—strong-willed, passionate, and never afraid to speak his mind—but beneath that strength was a heart overflowing with love for his family. Nothing meant more to Ron than the people he loved, and he made sure they knew it every day.

Born on December 30, 1948, in Manhattan, New York, Ron built a life centered on family, friendship, hard work, and dedication. He enjoyed a successful career as an accountant and took great pride in his profession. Even after retirement, he continued working because he genuinely loved what he did and believed in giving his best effort to everything he pursued.

Ron was rarely alone. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories that will now be treasured forever. His home and heart were always open, and he had a remarkable way of making people feel welcomed and valued.

A lifelong and devoted New York Yankees fan, Ron loved watching games with his family, cheering on his team, discussing every play, and enjoying the simple moments spent together. Those Yankees games, filled with conversation and laughter, will forever be cherished by those who sat beside him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Vitale; his children, Carrie Ann Brozny and Steve Brozny, John Vitale and Norma Vitale, and Matthew Vitale; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Tyler, and Matthew Vitale; his step-grandsons, Connor and Dylan Brozny; his brother, John Vitale and his wife, Debra; his sister, Donna Hopkins and her husband, Dennis Hopkins; along with many extended family members and countless friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. Vitale and Christine Vitale.

Ron leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, determination, hard work, and devotion to family. While his sudden loss has left an immeasurable void in our hearts, we find comfort in the memories he gave us, the lessons he taught us, and the love that will remain with us forever.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Homes and Crematory, 5400 Village Drive, Rockledge, Florida 32955. A casual reception celebrating Ron’s life will immediately follow at the Viera Regional Community Center, 2300 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Viera, Florida 32940.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.
