Ronald Trent Wardle was born on April 15, 1932 and passed away on November 8, 2009.Ron was raised in Amityville, NY to the late Ainslie and Hilda Wardle. He attended Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ for high school, served two years in the US Army and graduated from Indiana Tech with a BS in Electronics Engineering. His engineering career was with Sperry Corporation, which later became Unisys, on Long Island. He retired in 1995.
Ron Married Joan Wolff in 1956 and went on to raise their three daughters, Diana, Susan and Nancy in Bay Shore. He was a member of the Mason's and the Bay Shore Yacht Club. He was an avid boater, fisherman and gardener. Ron had the great opportunity to travel with his wife all over the world. As a couple, they were very social and entertained often. Ron and Joan moved to Cape Canaveral in 1997 and have resided there ever since.

Ron leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Joan and his three daughters: Diana Wernet, Susan (Joe) Piccari and Nancy (Chuck) Waterhouse; grandchildren, Colette, Corinne and Stephen Piccari, Nicole and James Waterhouse; his sister Joan (Joe) O'Shea and nieces, Terry and Kelly; nephews, Kevin and Tim.
The family will greet friends from 3 – 5pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Cocoa Beach with a service to follow in celebration of Ronald’s life at 5pm. His final resting place will be in Riverhead Cemetery, Long Island, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, FL 32940.
