Ruth E. Martus

Ruth E. (Gray) Martus, 102, passed away on September 28 at home. Born in Skaneateles, NY and raised in Marcellus, NY, she resided in Syracuse and retired to Cocoa Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her husbands, Burt Oram in 1934, and Al Martus in 1979. Ruth is survived by her two children, Janet (Bill) Sheffer of Cocoa Beach and Robert (Lee) Martus of Pulaski, NY, 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at a later date in Syracuse, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's memory to Vitas Hospice, 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Suite 250, Melbourne, FL 32934.
