Biography Sharon Roberts Schott, 64, formally of Shelbyville, Ky. passed away July 27, 2010 at her home in West Melbourne, Florida. Born July 20, 1946 in Shelbyville, she was preceded in death by her parents J.C. Roberts and Naoma Manning of Shelbyville and her grandparents, Morris and Ruth Roberts of Pleasureville Ky. Sharon was a graduate of Shelby County High School and received her Registered Nursing degree from Kentucky State University and a BSN degree at McKendree College. She dedicated her life as a Registered Nurse caring for people at Shelby Manor, Kings Daughters Hospital, United Medical Center and Jewish Hospital of Shelbyville. Sharon was the director of the emergency room at Jewish Hospital and was nurse at Churchhill Downs in Louisville Ky. on weekends. In the summer of 2002 Sharon moved to Melbourne, Florida with her mother Naoma Manning. She worked at the Brevard Correctional Institution. Sharon dedicated her life to helping people heal from injury and disease. Her hobbies were watching horse racing and collecting Kentucky Derby memorabilia. She is survived by four children, Will Schott, Chad Schott, Leslie Schott, and Stephanie Sohles, four siblings, Morris and Howard Roberts, Lorena Evans and Lucy Roberts, four grandchildren and eleven nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Sat. July 31, 2010 at 11:30 A.M. at Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home 5400 Village Dr. in Viera, Florida and Sat. Aug. 7, 11 a.m. at the Webb Funeral Home in Shelbyville Ky. The family requests expressions of sympathy in the form of contributions to the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis,10866 W.
