Tess Monico

Tess Margaret Monico, 95, formerly of Melrose Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec 14th at a local hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Brigadier General Frank Monico, U.S. Army, retired, who died the same day in 1992. Tess spent the last 37 years of her life in Cocoa Beach. She is survived by her daughter, Viviene, of Waukesha, WI, and her son, Kenneth, of Hawthorn Woods, IL. Tess has seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Despite her age, Tess lived on her own and enjoyed playing Bridge with various local women’s groups. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 17th from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home, 101 N. Brevard Ave. in Cocoa Beach. Contributions in her name can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
