William Kesler, Jr

Rose Dickson Kesler CAPT William Kesler, Jr. Viera Rose Dickson Kesler, 96, passed away of natural causes in her home on April 24, 2010 in Viera, FL. She was followed thereafter by her beloved husband of 69 years CAPT William Kesler, Jr (USCG), 95, on May 26, 2010. They were predeceased by their only son LTC Dickson Edwin Kesler (USA), 64, on September 3, 2008. Together, they have engaged in lifelong service to their country both abroad and at home. They are survived by their grandchildren, Christopher Torres Kesler, Cristina Torres Kesler Fuller, SSG William Parks Kesler (USA), and Dickson Edwin Kesler, Jr. and spouses Michael Ingram Fuller, Kelly Lynn Kesler, and Theresa Ann Kesler; their great-grandchildren, Madelynn Grace, Thomas Parks, Peter John Dolan, Alyce Marie, Kendre Brooke, and C3C Seth Nicholas Kesler (USAFA); and their former daughter-in-law Marina de Moura Torres. A local service and interment with be held at Faith Viera Lutheran Church on Monday, May 31, at 11 AM. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society. The family would also like to thank the staff at Wuesthoff hospice for their attentive care of Rose and William over these last few months at home along with Sun Hall for her compassionate care of Rose, William and Dickson over these last few years.
