William Pogue

William R. Pogue, 84, passed away peacefully on March 3rd at his home in Cocoa Beach. Bill was a Skylab 4 Astronaut Pilot, Thunderbirds Pilot, flew combat missions in Korea and worked as a flight instructor for the Air Force. He was currently serving on the board of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Bill is survived by his wife, three children, five step-children, extended family and friends. He is and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held 10 A.M. Friday, March 14th at Club Zion Community Church , 830 S. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach.
