Dr. Eric L. Lang
May 21, 1955 — November 18, 2024
Eric Lawrence Lang, 69, passed away on November 18, 2024 in Rockledge, Florida. Born May 21,1955, Eric's life was marked by his love for family and friends, and passion for his career in medicine.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Temple University followed by a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University. He was a respected physician, board certified in Family and Geriatric Medicine as well as Addiction Medicine. His dedication to his patients and his field was evident in the compassionate care he provided throughout his career.
A man of many interests, Eric was known for his caring, kind and gentle nature, coupled with an unconventional spirit. He had a profound love for cars, music, base guitars, and often blended his artistic and technical skills in these areas. An avid reader and keen follower of politics, Eric also enjoyed boating and sports, especially following his beloved Eagles. He appreciated various forms of art, visiting museums, gardening, repairing and restoring things, exercising, savored well prepared meals and delighted in eating strawberry short cake and sipping his favorite perfectly mixed cocktail, the "Gimlet". Eric was most devoted to his companion and shadow, his little dog Coco.
Eric is survived by his wife, Feryn Lang, daughters Melissa Rowley and Amanda Skena, grandchildren Emerson Rowlely, Cameron Rowley and Brody Skena, brother Kevin Lang and sister Jody Bender.
A memorial service to celebrate Eric's life will be held at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Viera Florida on December 1st with a gathering at 1PM, followed by a service at 2PM.
