Abby Lucero
February 27, 1983 — January 6, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Abby Lucero, who left this world on January 6th, 2026. Abby Lucero was a deeply loved wife, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, kindness, and quiet strength.
Abby was the beloved wife of Keith Lucero and a devoted mother to her cherished children, Koa Lucero and Ayla Lucero, her greatest joy and proudest purpose. Her love for her family was steady, nurturing, and unwavering, and it showed in the way she created a home filled with care, laughter, and comfort.
She is survived by her sister, Lyndee Peters, with whom she shared a lifelong bond rooted in love and shared memories along with her extended loving family and dearest friends. Abby was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Peters, and Constance Johnson, who she carried with her always.
Abby will be remembered for her thoughtful nature, her quiet resilience, and the way she made others feel seen and cared for. She had a gentle presence and a beautiful ability to bring calm and light into the lives of those around her. Her love lives on through her children, her family, and the many people whose lives were made better by knowing her.
A public memorial service celebrating Abby’s life will be held on January 16th at 11:00am, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and reflect on the love she leaves behind. Those who wish to honor Abby’s memory may do so by supporting Your Story Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cancer. Donations can be made at yourstoryfoundation.com.
Abby’s spirit remains woven into the hearts of those who loved her, and her light will continue to guide and comfort them always.
