Betty Ann Wadekamper

She went to the arms of her Lord on Monday, 9/23/13, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 18, 1936 in Strasburg, ND; first born of Christine and John Feist. Betty came to Washington by train at 6 years of age with her mom and dad, brother Ed and sister Addie; and mom pregnant with sister Delores. They lived in Yakima for six months then moved to Bremerton, WA; returning back to Yakima. She attended St. Pauls Grade School; graduating in 1954 from St. Josephs Academy. Betty met the love of her life, Arthur Wadekamper in Yakima, her high school sweetheart whom she married in 1956 and spe7 years of a wonde life in Shoreline, WA. She worked for the Bank of America for over 40 years. Her favorite hobbies were walking and exercise classes. She also enjoyed gardening and caring for her beautiful flowers. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; her sons, Douglas, and Brad (Dernise) of Seattle; brother-in-law, Wayne Wadekamper; two sisters, Addie Dolquist (Chuck) and Delores Feist, and sister-in-law Cheryl Feist all of Yakima; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and brother Edward.
