James Albert Fay, 81, of Mountlake Terrace died October 4, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Bremer County, Iowa on the family farm, to Albert and Louise Fay.In 1956, James married Deanna Speed of Oelwin, Iowa. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict receiving two metals. In 1961 he and his family moved to the Seattle area. He worked in the sheet metal trade belonging to Local 66. James was very active in his church, St. Pius X; especially with the St. Vincent de Paul and the Lazarus CenterJames is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deanna; children: Carla (Reza) Motaghedi, Brian (Leticia) Fay, Brenda (Rick) Adams, and Rita (Scott) Timmerman; 12 grandchildren: Sohrab, Sara, Sean, Brian Alexander, Albert, Charles, Benjamin, Alisha, Joshua, Megan, James and Heidi; and 2 great grandchildren on the way; and his brother, John Fay.James loved his family and lived for them. We will miss him and his wonde stories and jokes very much. Announcement: In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
