Jeanne Marie Mcaree

Jeanne Marie (née Winnie) McAree Jeanne was born on June 19, 1959 and passed away on December 7, 2021. She was born in Seattle and spent the entirety of her live in the Seattle/Shoreline area. She attended the University of Washington from 1978-82 obtaining a degree in French Literature while also playing on the school’s volleyball team. Jeanne met and married her husband Mark McAree and together they had 2 sons, Patrick and Henry. Jeanne was a member of Holy Rosary Edmonds & St. Luke Shoreline parishes. She was active on the HR PTA and after school activities; and coached the volleyball team. She helped in assembling play, conducted/organized many funeral receptions. She worked at Boeing as a mechanic for several years and was a member of the IAM751 union. Jeanne loved volleyball, listening to classic rock, reading books, taking care of her boys, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Mark, 2 sons Patrick and Henry, her mother Margaret, and her siblings John (Kim), Yvonne (Greg), Suzanne (Ted), and Doug (Ken) along with many nieces, nephews, and greats. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph.
