John Barton Delisle

Jack went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 17th, 2011, after a battle with cancer. John Barton DeLisle was born on March 5th, 1953, in San Francisco, California. He moved with his family to the Edmonds area where he graduated from Meadowdale high school in 1971. His life will be marked by his devotion to family and faith, the most precious gifts to him in this life. Jack will be remembered and greatly missed by his wife Sharon (McIlrath) DeLisle and their nine children and spouses: Brian (Brother John the Evangelist), James (Jamaica), Jessica Gallagher (Colin), Adam (Colleen), Anne Babson (Dave), Jennifer, Mary, Audrey, and Andrew. Jack and Sharons 12 grandchildren will fondly remember grandpa Pops. Jack is also survived by his mother Mary Cathleen DeLisle as well as his sister Cathy Abramoski (Bob), and brothers Bob (Kimberly), Tom (Melinda), and Joe. He was preceded in death by his father Robert. The Celebration of Jacks life began with a Rosary which was held at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Edmonds, Washington. The funeral mass was held at Corpus Christi Church on Wednesday, November 23rd. His burial was at Holyrood Cemetery. Jack once commented, When you think of me, think of Gods grace.
