Maria Elaine Nantz

Maria Elaine (Economou) Nantz, 47, passed away in her sleep in her Mountlake Terrace Home on Thursday January 23rd.She was born in Seattle on May 31st 1966 to Mary and Tom Economou. Maria graduated from Bothell High in 1984, attended Gonzaga University and received her AA degree as a paralegal from Edmonds Community College. She was a loving wife of twenty three years to her husband Mike Nantz. Maria had a passion for life and all things colo. She loved gardening and flowers and attended the tulip festival every year. Maria is remembered for her fun sense of humor and her ability to make people laugh. She loved travel and spent many holidays in Hawaii, Mexico, Seaside and going to Leavenworth every year at Christmas.Maria is survived by her husband Mike Nantz, her mother Mary Economou and her siblings, Chris Economou, Ann Martin, Tommy Economou and Angela Tole. She was loved dearly by her family and is greatly missed.A small family service was held in her memory on Thursday January 29th.
