Alberta H. Smith

"Alberta H. (Chapin) Smith, 90, formerly of Jabish St., died November 26 at Willimansett Center West. Born August 5, 1915, in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie (Perkins) Chapin. She lived in Belchertown for 10 years, and previously lived in Phoenixville, PA. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald Sr., in 1999 and is survived by her children Reginald Jr. and his wife Pauline of Belchertown, Kathleen Lord and her husband Sam of Phoenixville, PA, Dianne Perilli of Belchertown, and Beryl Smith of Springfield. She also leaves three brothers Earl Chapin of FL, Henry Chapin of CT, and Neil Chapin of Springfield, along with nine grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by burial in South Cemetery. A visitation will precede the service from 9:00-10:00 a.m."
