"Amanda M. (Williams) Laflamme , 31, of Sullivan Lane died unexpectedly on August 4, 2013. She was born May 11, 1982 in Springfield, and was the daughter of Gerald and Nancy (Wyszynski) Williams of Granby. Amanda grew up in Granby and graduated from Granby High School. She went on to further her education at Westfield State and graduated from Elms College with a degree in Speech Pathology. For the past eight years, she worked as an assistant speech pathologist for Springfield School System and so loved working with the kids. Amanda and her husband made their home on the river and she loved spending time at Beer Belly Beach and jet skiing and boating on the river. Besides her parents, she will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Benjamin and their cherished son, Hunter, along with many extended family members. Amanda maintained many friendships and will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be Sunday, August 11 at the Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St., (Rte. 116) from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by burial in West Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to the family in her memory for the benefit of her son Hunter, c/o Berkshire Bank, Newton St., S. Hadley. "
