"Three Rivers, Annabelle (Calkins) Price, 94, died peacefully at home on August 5, 2013. Born in Albany, NY, August 10, 1918, she has lived in Three Rivers since 1945. She was a communicant of the former St. Anne's Church. She worked for the former Belchertown State School as a secretary for many years before retiring. Additionally, she was a member of the Palmer Senior Center and Club 55. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Clayton E. Price (1986) and a brother Edward P. Calkins (1976). She will be deeply missed by her children, Betty Tourville and husband Richard of Lyman, SC, Helen Gavin and husband James of Brimfield and Patricia Kinner and husband Thomas of Wales, along with adopted daughter and care giver, Lori Spelko. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren, and her caregivers, Shelly LaChance, Krystin LeFebvre and Faith and Penny Przybycien. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 7 at 10 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery. A calling hour will be Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. preceding the service. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Wing Hospice, 40 Wright St., Palmer, 01069. "
