Anna N Mayo

"Brimfield-Anna N. (Natale) Mayo, 95 passed away peacefully July 22, 2016 at Quaboag on the Common with the love of her family surrounding her. Born February 26, 1921 in Stafford, CT, she was the daughter of Andrea and V.Rena (Serafin) Natale. Anna has lived most of her life in Stafford, CT and has lived in Brimfield for the past 30 years. She retired from Stafford Savings Bank as assistant treasurer. Anna was an active communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield and will be missed by her Morning Group. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. In her younger years, she enjoyed cooking for her family. Anna will be fondly remembered by how she taught by example how to appreciate the small gifts God gives us daily. In 2000, she was predeceased by her husband Harold L., as well as her son, Harold C. in 2014 and her son-in-law, Bruce Niemitz in 1999. Anna will be dearly missed by her daughter, Ann Howell and her husband Clark as well as her grandson, Steven Niemitz and many close nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge her caregivers, Donna Warren, Lori MacDowell, Christina Poulin and Mary Dube, for their care and support. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Mary Williams, Angelina Houle and Michael Natale. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 29th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Edwards Church, 59 High St., Stafford Springs, CT with burial to follow in the parish cemetery. Kindly meet directly at the church. Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
