Cynthia A. Belanger

"Indian Orchard - Cynthia A. Belanger, 44, passed away suddenly on June 30, 2013. She was born August 9, 1968 in Holyoke, daughter of Richard R. Belanger of S.Hadley and Ruth (Mills) Belanger-Sassi of Ludlow. She grew up in Ludlow, graduated from Ludlow High School and received an associates degree from STCC. She has lived in Indian Orchard for many years and worked as a cashier at Dollar Tree in Springfield. She enjoyed water skiing, boating and deep sea fishing. She loved spending time with her precious grandchildren and dogs. Cynthia will be remembered as an artistic and creative spirit. Besides her parents, she is survived by three children, Nelson Dearborn of West Springfield, Megan Dearborn of Springfield and Joseph LaBelle of Springfield, her step-father Gino Sassi and grandmother, Evelyn Mills both of Ludlow. She will also be missed by 3 brothers, Michael Belanger of Springfield, David Sassi, Steven Sassi, a sister, Kathi Sassi, and step-brother, Jeffrey Converse. She also leaves, 3 grandchildren Aiden, Carmella and Jayliah, boyfriend Joel Ryan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cynthia was preceded in death by her step-mother, June Belanger and a brother, Mark Belanger. Calling hours will be Friday, July 05, 2013 from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Followed by a Celebration of life service at 6:30 pm in the funeral home.
