Dawn M. Bliss

"Ware, Dawn M. (Dearden) Bliss, 92, formerly of Ware, died peacefully on June 29 at Wingate at Hampden. Born in Holyoke on March 30, 1924 she was a graduate of Classical High School in Springfield, MA . She was also a graduate of Springfield Hospital School of Nursing in 1945 and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at the former Wesson Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Wilbraham Grange, Pomma State and National Grange for 40 years and also a member of Grace Union Church in Wilbraham. .She lived many years in Springfield, Wilbraham and in Ware since 1977. Besides her husband Dudley Bliss (1998), she was predeceased by a son David Bump, Billy, Dudley Jr., and Richard Bliss. She leaves her children, Cynthia Wooldridge of TX, Carolyn Hudson of Palmer, David Bliss of Brimfield, Gordon and Lester of Uxbridge, Kenneth of Upton, Leland of Douglas, Betty Clark of Vero Beach, FL and Carolyn Longdyke. She also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10am in the Grace Union Church, Chapel St., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in Adams Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to Grace Union Church, Chapel St, Wilbraham. "
