"Three Rivers - Doris E.(Pellerin) Kivior , 86, of Sylvia St. died on June 30, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. Born May 9, 1927 in Ware, MA, she was the daughter of Amede Pellerin and Emma (Bilodeau) Pellerin. Doris grew up in Ware and graduated from Ware High School. She then moved to Palmer. During her working career, she was a seamstress at Ware Knitters and then worked for many years at Palmer Public School in the cafeteria . Doris was very active in the Palmer Senior Center and enjoyed her time in the Choir at Divine Mercy Parish and playing cards and puzzles. Her greatest devotion was her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 47 years, Rudolph Kivior, and her daughters, Donna Rivest and her husband James of Ludlow, Susan Kivior of St. Petersburg, FL. She also leaves beloved grandchildren, Kaitlin Rivest and Calvin Bryant along with a brother, Armand Pellerin of South Hadley and many nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her brother, Oscar Pellerin of Warren. Visitation will be Wednesday July 3rd, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 4th, at Divine Mercy Parish (former Sts. Peter & Paul Church) Main St. Three Rivers, MA at 10:00 a.m. with burial in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Palmer Senior Center. For details, please visit www.beersandstory.com. "
