"Belchertown - Elizabeth M. (LaBelle) Leger, 89, of Pine Valley Plantation, died on August 20, 2016. She was born October 13, 1926 in Chicopee, MA, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Grummell) LaBelle. Elizabeth retired in 1985, after working for Sears Robuck in Holyoke for 26 years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Granby. She is survived by three daughters, Anita M. Barsalou (Ron) of Springfield, Donna M. Jendrysik of E.Longmeadow, and Joanne J. Leger of Springfield. She also leaves a sister, Theresa E. Ericksberg of Ludlow, three grandchildren, Kyle and Derek Jendrysik (Gina), Caitlin Leone (Luigi) and a great granddaughter, Sophia. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Alderic Leger in 2011. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 25th from 4-7:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday at 8:15 a.m to follow to a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m at Immaculate heart of Mary Church in Granby. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Belchertown Senior Center or Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. "
