Elizabeth "Betty" Zabik

"Belchertown, Elizabeth A. Zabik, 70, died at home on Saturday, August 6. She was born in Westfield On February 17, 1946 and was the daughter of William and Doris (Hall) Demers. SHe resided in Chicopee until 1988 and then relocated to Belchertown. In 1964 she married the love of her life, William Zabik, and have been happily married for the past 52 years. She worked for many years as a quality control inspector for Rocktenn Manufacturing. She enjoyed shopping on QVC and her rides to Quabbin Reservoir. She will be deeply missed by her husband William along with their son, Todd and his wife Rebecca of Belchertown and her grandchildren, Andrea and Josh. Her sisters, Virginia Ballargeon of Belchertown, Marion Lortie of Chicopee, Doris Parent of Northampton, Janet Syrek of Ludlow and her brother Ernest Demers and his wife Dixie also survive her. All services are private and Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements."
