"Holyoke - Josephine M. Chalmers, 102, died on September 11, 2016 in Holyoke . She was born on August 24, 1914 and was the daughter of Eva Nastunowicz. She was a hostess for many years at the Log Cabin before retiring. She will be missed by her son, Allan W.Chalmers along with her grandchildren, Brent, Christopher and David and great granddaughter, Isabella all from Westfield. Her sister Rose Stepno and many nieces and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her husband Allan F. in 2000 and her brother, Edward Alukek Burial will be on Thursday, September 15 at 12:30 p.m. in the Forestdale Cemetery, Holyoke, MA. Please meet directly at the cemetery. Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
