"Belchertown - Juanita (Bennett) Kocik , 81, passed away July 11, 2016 at home. Born November 15, 1934 in Moscow, VT, she was the daughter of Walter W. and Beulah (White) Bennett. Juanita has lived in Belchertown for over 30 years, previously of Deerfield. She worked as a housekeeper for the President of Amherst College for over 30 years. She loved to sew and made quilts for all of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed needle point crafts and going to craft fairs and was a communicant of St. Francis Church. In 2006, she was predeceased by her husband Rudolph. Juanita will be dearly missed by her two children, James Milo and his wife Brenda of Greenfield, and Rebecca Ungaro of Albuquerque, New Mexico as well as 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchild as well as 8 step great grandchildren. She also leaves a step son, John Kocik and his wife Meyoko, sister, Ruth M Bennett of VT, sister -in -law, Claire Kocik, sister in law, Helen Oren, and many nieces and nephews including her Vermont girls. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church with burial to follow at South Cemetery. Friend and family may gather at the funeral home prior to the mass at 9-9:15 a.m. or meet directly at church. For those wishing, "
