Judith A. Murphy

"South Hadley, Judith A. (Kelly) Murphy, 64, died on Thursday, August 22 at Baystate Medical Center with her family by her side, after a brief illness. She was born in Holyoke, MA on March 24, 1949 and was the daughter of Walter and Wanda (Sokolowski) Kelly. She has resided in South Hadley for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Theresa Church. She worked for Curtis Business Forms for 30 years, retiring in 1999. She was a fabulous cook, enjoyed vacationing in Florida, time on the boat and taking care of her two grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 38 years, James, her two children, Jamie and his wife Jennifer and Jennifer Murphy and her husband R.J. Marchewka along with her two precious grandchildren, Brady and Samantha, all of South Hadley. Her sister, Debbie Pasterczyk and her husband John of Ludlow and brothers in law Stephen Murphy and his wife Sue of Westfield and David Murphy and his wife Kim of South Hadley along with several nieces and nephews also survive her. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 27 at 9:00 a.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, (646 Newton St.) followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa's Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial is private. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Autism Society 4340 East West Hwy Suite 350 Bethesda, MD 20814."
