"Bondsville - Lillian E. (Mechonski) Midura, 85, of Main St. in Bondsville, passed away July 14, 2013 at Life Care Center in Wilbraham surrounded by her family. She was born January 13, 1928 in Palmer, she was the daughter of Stanley and Bertha (Ramsden) Mechonski. Lillian has lived in Palmer for her entire life and worked as a secretary at the former Better Brush and Bondsville Printworks. She took much enjoyment in her time at Foxwoods playing the quarter slots along with knitting and spending time in Hampton Beach and Maine. Her greatest love was the time spent with her family. Lillian was predeceased by her husband Anthony C. in 2006 and will be greatly missed by her children, Paula Corcoran and her husband John of Bondsville, and Patrick Midura and his wife Linda also of Bondsville. Lillian also leaves two sisters, Anna Mechonski and Rose Campion both of Belchertown along with 5 granchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a great grandchild Brandon. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 18 at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Divine Mercy Parish at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palmer Senior Center. For details, visit www.beersandstory.com. "
