Loretta E. Gay

"E. Longmeadow, Loretta E. (Murry) Gay, 85, of Pleasant Street, died Tuesday, March 9 at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Springfield, August 1, 1924, the daughter of George Murry and Helen (Burt) Murry, she lived in Belchertown for many years before moving to E. Longmeadow 20 years ago. She worked at Massachusetts Mutual for 20 years prior to her retirement. She was pre-deceased by her son Gary Gay and three sisters Marjorie Pepper, Rosalie Pouliot and Dorothy Brassard. She is survived by her son Ernest M. "Skip" Gay, Jr. of Belchertown, 5 grandchildren, Erik, Matthew, Gary, and Gregory Gay, and Heather Gay Bressette, along with 5 great grandchildren, Krisopher Ciszewski-Gay, Keira, Savannah, Emily, and Katie Gay. All services are private and Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital in Springfield.
