Lucy Agnes Klein

Lucy Agnes Klein passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on October 30, 1938, in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Lucy was the daughter of the late Elmer and Frances (Zuzlewski) Griggs. She made her home in Belchertown, Massachusetts, where she was a longtime resident for more than 30 years. Lucy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth A. Klein, as well as her sister and her brother.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Andrew Gibson and her daughter, Kathleen Gibson. She also leaves behind her step son William Klein and his wife Julia along with Bill's kids, Jason Klein and his wife, Ashley and Jessica Klein. Step daughter, Annemarie Deich and her husband, Jonathon and Annemarie's kids K.C. Sorber and his partner, Meagan Barrett, Andrew Deich and Jaron Deich as well as step son, Arthur Klein and his wife, Lori and Art's kids Lindsey DeCocker, Shaunna Kirk and Mya Nicole Klein will also fondly remember her. Step son, John Klein and his children, Meighan Klein, Lauren Fruge and Connor Klein as well as 11 great grandchildren also survive her.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25 at Hope United Methodist Church in Belchertown at 11am. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
