Margaret M. Galipeau

"Margaret M. (Spadea) Galipeau joined her father in heaven, on Saturday, July 27th at Palmer Health Care Center. Born in Worcester on February 14, 1930, she was the daughter of John and Margaret Spadea. Margaret and her husband, and love of her life, George, lived in Holland for many years before moving to Palmer in 1993. She was a member of Faith Baptist church, and worked for many years at Sears and Roebuck. Margaret was a kind hearted and generous person all of her life, often going without to help others in need. She took tender loving care of her husband, even though in poor health herself, until his passing this past May. She will be sadly missed by her five children, Concetta "Connie" Szenkum of Springfield, MA, Timothy Galipeau of Baton Rouge, LA, Jacque Zingle of Enfield, CT, Loretta Hawes of Stoneham, ME, and James Galipeau of Vinegrove, KY, along with 10 grand children and 11 great grandchildren and her sister, Mary Spadea. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements."
