Mary was born March 8, 1932 in Hadley, MA, daughter of Frank and Katherine (Swinsonek) Fydenkevez. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Bodzinski, who passed in 1994. Mary worked as a Customer Service Representative for Martula and Jones/Neylon Insurance Agencies for many years before her retirement. Mary was an avid reader, and enjoyed her daily walks. She loved crosswords and jigsaw puzzles, and enjoyed gardening. Above all else, Mary cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her children, Marianne Bodzinski of Belchertown, Jeanmarie Steele and her husband Frank of League City, TX, Suzanne Provost and her husband David of Belchertown, and Edward J. Bodzinski, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Southwick; brother, John Fydenkevez and his wife Jean, and sister, Jean Fydenkevez; grandchildren, Nicholas Provost, Daniel, Jeffrey, Matthew, and Andrew Steele, and Brett and Sarah Bodzinski. Many nieces and nephews survive her as well. In addition to her husband Edward, Mary was preceded in death by brothers Edward and Frank Fydenkevez, and sisters Theresa Pippert and Victoria Zwirek. Per Mary's wishes, a graveside service will be privately held in South Cemetery.
