"Springfield- Medora M. Dionne, 87, of Parker St., passed away on March 23, 2010 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born on November 1, 1922 in La Patrie, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Claudia (Gauthier) Paquette. Medora was raised in Canada and has lived in Springfield for most of her adult life. She worked many years in home health care in the surrounding areas. In her leisure, she enjoyed dancing and bowling. She was predeceased by her husband Louis Dionne and a daughter Lorraine Kwasnik. She is survived by a son Guy Dionne of Springfield, sister Lillian Lemay of Maine and a brother Andre Paquette of Canada. She also leaves four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. "
