Michael William Mann

"Michael. W. Mann, 48, of Carew St., died Saturday November 19, 2005 with his family by side. Born in Holyoke, MA June 4, 1957, he was the son of Shirley (Matulewicz) Mann and the late James J. Mann. Mike grew up in South Hadley and lived most of his life in this town. Mike was currently employed by Intelicoat and has worked there for 26 years. He will always be remembered as a fun loving person and in his leisure he primarily enjoyed time with his family, he also enjoyed vacations at the beach, golfing, fishing, photography and his vegetable garden. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 29 years, Joanne (Blanchard), his three loving daughters, Kelly Mann and her friend Christian Martinez, Jaime Mann and her friend Edwin Sierra , and Emily Mann and his foster son Matthew Tkacz as well as his cherished grandchildren, Anthony, Jennifer and Kami all of South Hadley. He also leaves his sister Linda Doughtery of Holyoke, his two brothers, Billy and his wife Sandy and Bobby Mann, both of Chicopee, his in-laws, Leo & Shirley Blanchard of South Hadley, his sister-in-laws Sandra Ringuette of Chicopee, Tina Couture and her husband Brian of S. Hadley, his brother-in-laws, Richard Blanchard and his wife Debbie of Chicopee, Russell Blanchard and his wife Debbie and Bruce Blanchard, both of S. Hadley, his Auntie Ann and Uncle Dave Baird of S. Hadley. He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Jimmy Mann. A Celebration of his Life will be Wednesday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. from the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. Burial is private. Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s memory to Baystate VNA and Hospice 50 Maple St P.O.
