"Three Rivers- Paul L. Morin, 58, passed away July 15 with his family at his side after a 3 ½ year courageous battle with cancer. B orn in Ludlow December 30, 1946, he was the son of the late Louis F. and Germaine L. (Castonguay) Morin who is also living in Three Rivers. Paul has been a life long resident of Three Rivers and graduated from Palmer High School in 1966. He is a member at St. Anne’s Church and St. Mary’s Club. He was also a member of The New England Chapter American Foundrymens’ Association, Inc., Amvets Post #74, American Legion Post #130, and the Palmer Public Library Railroad Research Committee. Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970. Mr. Morin previously worked at Triangle Casting in Three Rivers. He was a Foundry Superintendent at HBA Cast Products in Springfield and was Operations Manager at Pompanette, Inc. in Charlestown, NH, and was most recently employed at Trident Alloys in Springfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Beverly (O’Connor), 2 sons Mark Moses and John Louis both of Three Rivers, 2 devoted sisters Louise Fontaine of Three Rivers and Suzanne Cloud of W.Hartford, CT as well as 2 brothers Dennis Morin of Belchertown and Richard Morin of Three Rivers, friend Elizabeth Pelski of Ware, and friend and brother-in-law Patrick J. O’Connor of Three Rivers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 at St. Anne’s Church. Military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Quaboag Valley Hospice, 42B Wright St., Palmer, MA 01069"
