Phillip M. Allard

"West Warren - Phillip M. Allard, 76, of South St., died on March 22, 2010 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1933 in Springfield, MA, son of Philip and Mabel (Granger) Allard. Phillip has lived in W. Warren since 1968 and was the owner of Warren Electrical Contractors Inc., for 34 years. Mr. Allard enjoyed traveling the world and felt privileged that he and his wife both personally met with Pope John Paul. Phillip lived his life to the fullest and had many passions, but his greatest love was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia A. (Black) Allard of West Warren, three children, Thomas P. Allard and his wife Carol of Springfield, James P. Allard and his wife Ann Marie of Warren, and Kathy Allard-Fountain and her husband James of W. Warren. She also leaves a sister, Anita Curran of E. Longmeadow and seven grandchildren Daniel, Carrie, Jennifer, Ryan, Shannon, Eric Allard and Katelyn Fountain. Phillip was preceded in death by four sisters Elaine Pepper, Phyllis Petelle, Shirley Dean and Joan Sherman. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday for 10:15 a.m. to process to a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church in Palmer. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.
