"Three Rivers -Richard P. "Rickoush" Frydryk, 55, of North Street died on September 19, 2016 at home. Born in Palmer, he was the son of the late Paul P. Frydryk and Ann C. (Hallez) Frydryk with whom he lived. A lifelong resident, Rickoush was a graduate of Pathfinder and worked for many years for F & D Tool as a machinist. He was a member of St. Stan's Club and a member of its Board of Directors. He was also a member of St. Joe's Club, Sons of Amvets and was the caretaker of Pulaski Park for many years. He was the band leader and drummer for Rick Frydryk's Mello Tones for many years. Besides his mother, he will be deeply missed by his 3 brothers, Robert Frydryk (Mary Lee) , and Donald Frydryk ( Tammi) all of Palmer, and Thomas Frydryk (Cheryl) of Rotonda West, FL. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Kristie, Michael, Marissa, Meredith, Paul, and his buddy Kicki, and many extended family and friends. The family wishes to give special thanks to the tender care given by Mamie Flowers and the Baystate Hospice caregivers, along with Nicole Conner and staff of Conner Care. Funeral services will be Friday, September 23 at 9:00 a.m. from the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Divine Mercy Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. For those wishing, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Divine Mercy Church, 2267 Main St, Three Rivers, 01080 or Baystate VNA & Hospice, 50 Maple St., Springfield, 01102. "
