Rodney Joseph Champoux

" Rodney J. Champoux, 54, of Daniel Shays Highway died June 27 at Mary Lane Hospital in Ware. Born in Northampton, MA on February 13, 1951 he was the son of the late George and Marion (McBride) Champoux. Rodney grew up in Northampton and graduated from Northampton High School. He has lived in Belchertown for the past 16 years and previously resided in South Hadley. He started the Auto Collison Technolgy Program for Westfield Vocational High School and worked as a instructor there for the past ten years. He enjoyed time at home, reading and trips to the beach with his daughter and brother. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Tammy ( Erickson) and daughter Meagan , his daughter Nicole of Amherst as well as his brother George B. Champoux and his wife Leslie of Belchertown. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday July 1 at the Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Calling will preceed the service from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. "
